A big part of Learning at Herts Tai Chi is the practice of Standing Chi Gung. Without doubt Standing Chi Gung contains in it’s simple format, the most powerful type of  exercise you will find on the planet.

To develop softness allied with internal strength you must add Standing or Static Chi Gung to your Tai Chi practice. Static Chi Gung alone, can develop internal strength. Static Chi Gung practiced alongside Tai Chi, develops dynamic strengh.

Strong relaxed posture

 There are many individual Movements, Forms and Sets of Moving Chi Gung which can develop your energy in different ways. At Herts Tai Chi, at beginner level, we practice both Static Chi Gung and Moving Chi Gung. The moving Chi Gung is used to develop the pleasurable sensitivity that comes from soft relaxed movements.
